The Mobile Treatment Units are used in the Oilfield to treat water used in hydraulic fracturing. The 53′ units manufacture a non-hazardous 0.8% concentration of sodium hypochlorite, commonly known as “bleach” that the World Health Organization and CDC recommends for disinfecting surfaces. Sheriff Nehls and Robert Berry of Neptune collaborated to provide the sanitizer free of charge to residents and other agencies.
